What you have told me so far about the book a Achebe and how the protagonist practices polygamy . This catches my attention because im aware of how polygamy brings alot of conflict and drama and i hope this book will catch more of my attention .

Theme . . . ?

 My own term of the word theme is like the big idea like what the book is all based on  . For example the book Fences the theme could be in many ways . Like the theme can come in Family , Race , and Betrayl . In family Troy and Cory have a unhealthy relationship , In Race is prejudice beacause of the whole the black workers were picking up the trash and the white were driving the trucks . In Betrsyl , when Troy cheated on his wife and had a baby coming . My own term of theme can come in many ways .  

English Class . .

My name is Anna and im in my senior English class . I'm not much of a reader, so I don't put my all into it much. If a book doesn't catch my attention, I will not put much interest into it. I have read a couple of books though this year and in the past for English class that I have liked for example, The Crucible by Arthur Miller that talked about the witches and how people were affected by it . My favorite was Romeo & Julliet the classic book by William Shakespere . Also the teenage version Romiette and Julio that made more connection with teens by swithchin it from family diffrence to race . How Romiette ( African-American ) fell in love with Julio ( Hispanic ) and how each side disaggreed with their relationship . And finally i enjoyed Hamlet with caught my attention because of the mystery mixed with crime and love . In a way I do love to read but from now on i will improve in paying attention to what im reading .
